On April 9, 2026, we visited the Federal Higher Education Institute for Forestry in Bruck an der Mur as part of their project days to introduce the students to the benefits of our sustainable tree sleeves through a small competition.

Working in small teams, the students set up both conventional plastic covers and our biodegradable wooden tree covers for comparison, calculated the time required for installation and removal as well as the resulting amounts of plastic waste, and subsequently compared the cost and labor involved.

We are pleased to report that we received very positive feedback on our XILO tree protection system.
